Shri Suraj Prakash Miglani founded Upkar International in Phagwara, Punjab with a clear mission — to manufacture reliable, high-quality spare parts for agri diesel engines that Indian farmers could depend on.
The company expanded beyond basic components to offer a full range of engine internals — crankshafts, camshafts, pistons, liners, and fuel system parts — becoming a one-stop source for engine rebuilds.
Upkar International entered the international market, shipping its first export consignment. The quality spoke for itself, and repeat orders followed from across Asia and Africa.
Achieved ISO 9001 certification, formalizing the quality management system that had been the backbone of operations since day one — incoming checks, in-process controls, and final QC before dispatch.
Invested in CNC machining, precision measurement instruments, and upgraded to ISO 9001:2015. Production capacity scaled to meet growing domestic and international demand.
